CRASH SYNDROM – Postmortem Solutions To Mundane Issues

CRASH SYNDROM – Postmortem Solutions To Mundane Issues
This is the first full-length from Tokyo’s Death/Goregrind band named Crash Syndrom. The “Postmortem Solutions To Mundane Issues” CD was released by Obliteration Records on January 13th, 2018. Stefanskyi Kyrylo a.k.a Stefan (guitars and vocals) shreds with a proficiency honed by years of practice while his Carcass-style vocals and gutturals provide an aberrant layer over the riffs. Takahiro Okada (ex-Defiled) sits behind the kit lashing out blasts between mid-tempo beats, expertly maintains rhythm. Most recently, Tomo (Fatal Desolation) has joined on bass to give the band a meatier sound live. True to form, “Postmortem Solutions To Mundane Issues” provides 16 songs and runs at approximately 21 minutes total, with a very special secret track at the end. At its heart, their debut full-length is a fitting tribute to Goregrind pioneers such as Carcass, Dead Infection and also Pathologist.

BANGKOK ANARCHY – Anarchy in BKK

BANGKOK ANARCHY – Anarchy in BKK
“Anarchy in BKK” is the Demo 2010 unleashed by Bangkok Anarchy. It comprised of 7 tracks; Thailand’s Crisis, Mob Aggressive, Life in Slum, At At Night in Curfew, Disorder Civil, Bangkok War Zone, and the demo-title Anarchy in BKK. Frankly speaking, the recordings and sound quality was not very good, but not so messy. It was something lack when talking about sound production but no matter at all, I digged the demo alot. I truly loved the way the band delivers their music. It’s fucking raw, purely old-school and managed to play what Grindcore meant to be. Listen to the tracks, play them loud, then you’ll appreciate what is Bangkok Anarchy all about.

BOXTAK – Demo 2015

BOXTAK – Demo 2015
Young and so fuckin’ dangerous! BoXtak is undoubtedly among the best new generation in Sabah (Malaysia) grind scene. Consisted of Adli (drum), Angah (bass), Pagek (vocal) and Acit (guitar), they played raw and noisy Grindcore in this 5-track untitled / self-titled Demo. The CD started with an intro, the band then exploded with 4 fast and short tracks including ‘False Grind Sodomy’, a cover of Singapore’s Wormrot. This CD is the re-issued version released by Blazt Promotion, limited to 25 copies only! Proud to mention that I did the art on the front cover. Check it out, it grinds until you lose your mind!

MENTOR GRIND – La Maldad

MENTOR GRIND – La Maldad
This is truly fast as fuck! Mentor Grind combined grindcore and deathmetal at its finest definition. Heavy and high-speed riffings blended, hyperblasting drummings, extreme vocals, these are all things that make Mentor Grind sounds really brutal. “La Maldad” is the second full-length from this Ecuadorian deathgrinders released back in September 2016, containing 10 well-composed tracks with about 17 minutes of playing time. Listen and prepare to be grinded, this is an impressively amazing album indeed!

KASRAKASS – Self Destruction

KASRAKASS – Self Destruction
Tremendous debut CD from this 4-piece grindcore unit, a basically new band based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. “Self Destruction” comprised of 8 tracks that are shortly played (most of the tracks less than a minute), truly fast and heavy riffings, also brutal and loud sound production. About 6:45 minutes of blasting and ferocious grinding tracks that will blow your head away with rebellious message lies within their lyrics. This is for those who are into oldschool grindcore such as Terrorizer and early Napalm Death.
